Google is too keen to turn the youngsters into an explorer.
The influence of technology on kids is enormous. And the outbreak of Pandemic Covid-19 has just added extra icing to it. With continuous online classes and their love for different video games, their screen time has increased. It has become a matter of concerned for many parents.
But Google wants the tech-savvy kids to stay within a safe environment, as they might not know when and how they will be stalked by online attackers. It is the reason why a few days back, Google introduced Parental control features and several teacher-approved applications on its Play Store. And now, Google is too keen to launch “Kids Space”, specially designed for those kids who wish to become an explorer.
The entire idea is to encourage kids to explore things on their areas of interest. Once they select the topic they wish to explore, various information related to it will be displayed, and youngsters can continue their learning activity.
Kids Space will be more of a fun to them, and kids can even create funny avatars to mask their identities. The Read and Play Tabs will contain a budding library for kids, to get access to above 400 books, that too for free. Kids can also watch engaging and interactive YouTube videos which they can continue playing off-screen as well.
However, as of now the first device to include Kids Space is Lenovo Tab M10 HD Gen 2, with a screen size of 10.1 inches and Dolby Speakers. But don’t worry as gradually other android tablets users will also be able to enjoy this tool.
