Instagram the popular social networking site for sharing photos and videos with your friends and families who are having similar interest. The emerging popularity of Instagram made the developer think of coming out with a lite app that will be beneficial for smartphone users with average phone memory and low internet speed. That is why they came out with Instagram lite app in the year 2018 which was of only 573 KB, and that was hardly 1/55 of the primary version.
However, the company has now decided to cease the lite app that was available in many countries like Mexico, Kenya and the Philippines. They are planning to come up with an updated version of the app anytime soon. The reason is probably that the company was not pleased with the design of its lite app.
Why so? It’s still unclear. But this app never reached the Indian market or any major countries so the demand for this app was not much as the company initially thought it would be.
Nothing has been unveiled yet about the latest version of Lite app, but the Lite app usersfor the time being need to continue building a connection with the primary app until the Lite app is back again for them.
